Day 2 - The Lake District near Ambleside, Windemere, Kendal.
There is no Poison Ivy in the UK but there are plenty of nettles. These plants leave a nastly little itch wherever they brush over skin. They also penetrate the thin cloth of quick drying hiking clothing.
As careful as you can be, a few brushes are inevitable on a long walk. There is however, a remedy.
