Day 2 - The Lake District near Ambleside, Windemere, Kendal
After some near vertical climbing and rocky patches the group gathers and checks gear before moving on. The person at the bottom of the trail is a local man going in the opposite direction. He took the fork to the right and we watched him walk up and over the mountains to the right. Wadsworth lived and wrote his poetry on the other side of these mountains. Nearly every day he would walk eight miles through here and down the mountain to get his mail in Windemere.
