Day 2 - The Lake District near Ambleside, Windemere, Kendal
As we leave Skelwith Bridge Hotel after a fine meal, a good night rest and breakfast, Bill points east to a "saddle" between two peaks. We head out for this low point between the mountains noting that we will hike a "slight incline" this morning. As Walk Leader, one of Bill's many roles is that of coach. His calm notation of a slight incline ahead and his barely discernable smile left every walker thinking,
"I can do that" and we did.
