Day 2 - The Lake District near Ambleside, Windemere, Kendal
Most of our walking was in the countryside on public footpaths but we did pass through the occassional small village. This is Ambleside. You can tell be now that it is not always gloomy in England. This is yet another warm sunny June day. Although the walkers have been wearing sunscreen lotion for two days there are some signs of mild sunburn.
