FAD Diets -
Lose a Few, Gain a Few (more).


Mamma has always been concerned about her weight. In fact you could say she's obsessed with it. She was always trying to lose a few pounds and tried lots of diets just like most women.

Mamma once tried to live on only (fill in a single food here) for two weeks. Food's she tried were: Grapefruit, Eggs, Bacon, Oats, Steak and some powdery artifically flavored stuff mixed with milk. In the very short run, she lost a few pounds. But as many of you know, you can't live like that forever (and who would want to?) Unfortunately, running through a littany of fad diets is typical behavior when women gain unwanted pounds. When Mamma was younger it was so easy to put on a couple of pounds and easy to take them off again. She would quit eating for a couple of days (a very BAD dietary practice). As Mamma got a bit older it was harder and harder to do so she too fell into the trap of fad diets. They didn't work and as the years went along, those couple of pounds each year really started adding up.

Five years ago Mamma took control of her weight. She made a sensible assessment of what her Ideal Weight should be, then lost those extra pounds. Most importantly, because she avoided bad habits (Fad diets) the extra pounds have not returned.

This is how Mamma did it and how she stays thin.
