In these photos that pre-date our Wayfarers walk, we leave Maryland, and then Phildelphia airport to arrive in Ireland. We land at Shannon airport and then go by bus to Limerick. We visit St. Mary's Cathedral and King John's Castle while in Limerick. The tidal Shannon River rises and falls what seems like twenty feet or more. Limerick, like the rest of Ireland is a mix of old and new. Economic prosperity can been seen in virtually countless construction projects.
