Ireland stone circles dating to 500b.c.
After lunch we walk to one of Ireland's stone circles estimated dating to 500 b.c. to as early as 2000.b.c. Theories abound. Ceremonial? Ritualistic? Compass bearing? The tall stone aligns with another stone circle on the mountain ridge to perfect compass west on Lamis Day, the summer solstice, 1 August. That's Barbara there getting good vibes from the stone.
